The Flip2 sits at $39.99, half off its $79.99 regular price, marked while supplies last. The Smart4 shows as open box at $41.65, against a $119.99 regular price.
That is genuinely useful if you are buying now. A run-out Jitterbug is the cheapest way into Lively we have seen. It is also a phone at the end of its shelf life.

If the monthly service is the sticking point
The tiers above are what make Lively expensive over a year, and the cheapest of them still starts at $14.99/mo. Tello runs on T-Mobile’s network with plans from $5/mo for 300 talk minutes, $8/mo for 300 minutes plus 2GB, and $10/mo for unlimited talk and text plus 2GB, all month-to-month.
Be clear about what that price does not buy. Tello has no Urgent Response, no fall detection, no retail help, and no big-button senior handset; you bring your own unlocked, T-Mobile-compatible phone, and a Lively phone cannot move across because it is locked to Lively service.
Support is online-first. That makes Tello a real option for a senior with a family member managing the account, and the wrong choice for a family buying Lively specifically for the safety button. If that button is the reason you are on this page, stay with Lively.
Where Jitterbug phones are actually sold

Both handsets are listed on Amazon under the Lively brand, and the listings state plainly that the phone is locked to Lively service. This is the fastest route if you already shop there.

Best Buy is Lively's parent company, and it stocks the phones in stores as well as online. It is the only option that lets you hold the phone and press the keys before deciding.
Catch: Store stock of a run-out model is unpredictable, so call ahead.
Walmart
Walmart carries Lively listings online, and availability shifts. Some listings come from third-party sellers rather than Walmart itself.
Catch: Confirm the seller is Walmart or an authorized seller, and expect the same Lively activation either way.

Lively's current handsets, the Flip3 and Smart5, are listed on Amazon under the Lively brand. The listing titles state that the phone needs Lively service. Lively phones run on the Verizon network, which gives them one of the largest nationwide coverage footprints in the US. You do not need an existing Verizon account. Lively handles service through its own plans, and the phones cannot be activated on another carrier.
Do Lively phones work with hearing aids?expand_more
Both are rated, but not identically. The Flip2 carries an M4/T4 rating, the top tier. The Smart4 is rated M3/T4. M3 still meets the FCC threshold, so the gap shows up in microphone mode rather than telecoil mode. Anyone with real hearing loss should test a phone with their own aids first.
